Ayodhya Ram temple offering theft case: Decision today on new SIT in Supreme Court, Trust made major changes in donation system.

Today is considered very important from the legal and administrative point of view in the famous case of theft of offerings in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The hearing of this case will be held today in the country’s top court (Supreme Court), where the final approval can be given on the new Special Investigation Team (SIT) to be formed for an impartial investigation of the case. On the other hand, all the eight accused lodged in the jail will be produced before the local anti-corruption court, for which tight security arrangements have been made.

Eyes set on formation of new SIT team and production of accused

Following the earlier instructions of the Supreme Court, the Uttar Pradesh government can propose the formation of a new SIT team. According to reports, it can be suggested to include Lucknow Range IG Kiran S, Ayodhya DIG Somen Verma and Ayodhya SSP Gaurav Grover in this team. At the same time, all the eight accused are likely to appear before the Special Judge Anti Corruption Court through video conferencing. The court can also issue a major order today regarding the frozen pension account of main accused Subhash Srivastava.

Ram Mandir Trust made donation system transparent

After the incident of theft of offerings came to light, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has taken a big step to make the process of donations and offerings received in the temple 100 percent transparent. The Trust has completely updated the online donation process on its official website. Now devotees will get the facility to download the digital receipt immediately after donating online. Under this new system, devotees will have to enter their name, PAN number, mobile number and purpose of donation, so that a sure and secure record of donation can be created.
