A tragic accident occurred at an under-construction residential project in Sector 113, Gurugram. Two workers lost their balance while working on the 19th floor of a multi-storey building and fell to the ground. In this horrific accident, 19-year-old worker Dilkhush died on the spot, while fellow worker Vasudev was seriously injured while holding an iron rod on the middle floor. Contractor and company officials assaulted

As news of the accident spread, other workers at the construction site became furious. They accused contractor Saddam of failing to provide essential equipment such as safety belts, safety nets, and helmets, leading to the fatal accident. The enraged workers surrounded and beat contractor Saddam and company officials who had arrived to inspect the site. For some time, chaos and anarchy prevailed at the scene.

Stone pelting on police team and ERV vehicle

Upon receiving information about the accident and violence, a police team from Bajghera Police Station and an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) arrived at the scene. However, the police faced resistance from the workers’ aggressive stance. The mob broke the windows of the ERV vehicle and attacked a head constable who came to intervene.
