In Payagraj, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials to verify the eligible families and provide them the benefits of government schemes on priority basis. He clarified that no eligible poor family should be deprived of basic facilities like housing and there should not be any negligence in providing the benefits of the schemes to the eligible beneficiaries. Similarly, people suffering from serious illness requested for financial assistance for treatment, Ayushman card and better medical facilities. Shri Maurya ji instructed the concerned officials to take necessary action as per the rules and connect the eligible people with medical and assistance schemes. On complaints related to illegal occupation of land, encroachment and widening of roundabout, Shri Maurya directed the revenue and related departmental officers to conduct on-site investigation and ensure action as per rules. He said that encroachment on public roads and roundabouts will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Keshav Prasad Maurya today, in the public darshan at Circuit House, Prayagraj, people from different areas of the district gave complaints and request letters related to various public problems and government schemes including drains, drainage, drinking water, road construction and repair, medical facilities, land related disputes, freedom from illegal occupation, widening of the roundabout, Prime Minister’s residence, Ayushman card, financial assistance for treatment. Shri Maurya, while patiently listening to each complainant, instructed the concerned officers to dispose of the case as per rules, impartially and in a timely manner. He told the officers that the complaints received in Janata Darshan should not be limited to mere paperwork, but the complainant should also be informed about the same while ensuring effective action on each case. The administration should work with sensitivity and accountability to ensure that the general public does not have to visit offices unnecessarily.
