There will be clouds and possibility of thunderstorms today, heavy rain alert issued in 6 districts including Palamu on August 23

Monsoon seems to be active once again in Jharkhand, due to which the weather patterns are changing rapidly in different parts of the state. The general public, troubled by the scorching heat for the last few days, has every hope of getting relief soon. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of cloud cover in many areas of the state and thunder and lightning at some places. People have been appealed to remain alert regarding this so that any untoward incident can be avoided.

Changes in weather and movement of clouds in Jharkhand

According to the latest forecast of Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, the sky will be densely cloudy in many districts of the state today. Although there may be light sunshine at some places, there is a possibility of humidity remaining due to excess moisture. Meteorologists say that due to the passing of a new trough, moisture is increasing in the atmosphere, due to which the movement of clouds has intensified in different corners of the state. People may have to face intense sunlight and humidity during the afternoon, but the weather is likely to become pleasant as the evening approaches.

Special warning regarding thunder and lightning

Amidst this period of thunder and rain, the Meteorological Department has given the biggest warning regarding thunderstorms. The department has issued a yellow alert in many districts of the state and advised people not to stand under trees or in open fields during bad weather. Farmers and people living in rural areas have been appealed to take special precautions. If you hear the sound of thunder or lightning while working in the fields, immediately take shelter under a safe permanent house or shed.

Heavy alert of heavy rain in 6 districts including Palamu on 23 August

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be more upheaval in the weather of Jharkhand tomorrow i.e. on 23rd August. Especially in 6 selected districts of the state including Palamu, an alert of heavy to extremely heavy rain has been issued. Due to continuous rains in these districts, the problem of waterlogging may arise in low-lying areas. In view of the situation, the administration has also instructed the disaster management and related departments to be fully prepared so that any emergency can be dealt with immediately.
