National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has launched another new expressway in UP— ‘Atal Expressway’ The detailed plan of construction has been officially approved. This new expressway, directly connecting Kanpur and surrounding industrial areas, will take the state’s logistics, connectivity and business transportation to a new level. From a reporter’s point of view, this project will prove to be a new milestone of connectivity in the state after Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway and Ganga Expressway.
The road from Kanpur to Bundelkhand and Madhya Pradesh will be easy
This new Atal Expressway approved by NHAI will directly connect the transport network of the industrial city of Kanpur with other main economic corridors of the country:

Routes and Connectivity: This expressway will move through Kanpur and Etawah and touch the borders of Chambal region and Madhya Pradesh, which will give unprecedented speed to the interstate trade between Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Huge time savings: With the commissioning of this high-speed corridor, the travel time of heavy goods vehicles and passengers will be reduced to less than half, which will lead to huge savings in both fuel and time.
Industrialization and defense corridor will get a new boost
There are big centers of defense manufacturing (Defense Corridor) and leather industry in Kanpur and surrounding districts. In such a situation, the construction of this new expressway will provide the following benefits:
