Egg and tomato attack: Ravneet Bittu’s convoy pelted with stones and protested in Punjab; BJP leader alleges AAP conspiracy

Ground Report (Special Correspondent, Punjab): Political tensions between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have reached a fever pitch in Punjab. The convoy of former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu was attacked in Punjab’s Batala area on Friday while he was on his way to Pathankot. A group of protesters surrounded his convoy and pelted it with eggs and tomatoes.The windows of some vehicles were also broken.

Incident during the anti-drug march The incident occurred when Ravneet Bittu was on his way to Pathankot to participate in a BJP-organized march against alcohol and drugs. Describing the incident, Bittu said that a mob of approximately 500 people, despite police protection, attempted to stop his vehicles. The protesters pelted stones and threw eggs and tomatoes at the vehicles, damaging his convoy.

BJP’s direct accusation against AAP Ravneet Bittu called the entire incident a premeditated conspiracy by the Aam Aadmi Party. He alleged that the attackers had links to the ruling party and that some of the rioters were armed. Security personnel and Bittu’s supporters detained three suspects at the scene and handed them over to the local police.

AAP counterattacks On the other hand,The Aam Aadmi Party has hit back, denying these allegations. The protesters involved in the incident claim they were peacefully protesting their demands.But BJP workers and Bittu’s supporters attacked him first. Local police are currently investigating the incident.
